Professor Mary Shivanandan MA, STL, STD: Professor of Theological Anthropology and Associate Dean of the John Paul II Institute in Washington. Professor Shivanandan has many years experience as a researcher, writer and consultant on marriage, family, sexuality and fertility regulation.

Mrs Rita Joseph: a Canberra-based writer on family and human rights issues, Rita is a veteran of the UN Conference circuit having acted as advisor to Australian delegations to the UN. She is an adjunct lecturer to the John Paul II Institute.

Professor Hayden Ramsay, MA (First) PhD: educated at the University of Edinburgh before coming to Australia on a Travelling Scholarship, he is a Professor and Permanent Fellow of the John Paul II Institute in Australia lecturing in Philosophy and Ethics and is on the staff of the Cardinal Archbishop of Sydney.

Sr Isabell Naumann ISSM, DIP REP (TR) STD: born in Germany and a member of the Secular Institute of the Schoenstaff Sisters of Mary, Sister Isabell is a member of the faculty of the International Marian Research Institute, University of Dayton, a visiting Professor at the University of San Carlos, Cebu/Philippines and a Lecturer at the John Paul II Institute in Melbourne.

(Profeesor Brown will speak on Monday, February 28 as part of the Teacher Training Program)

Professor J.B. Brown, MSc, PhD, DSc, FRACOG: educated in New Zealand and at Edinburgh University, was the first to demonstrate the patterns of hormones during the ‘normal’ cycle. Professor Brown developed the Ovarian Hormone Monitor enabling people to conduct hormone assays in the laboratory or at home.

Gillian Barker, who will present the paper has been working with Professor Brown for many years
