This teaching service is provided through an interface on your
web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). You enter your daily
observations through a form. The system records your data
in our database and displays an updated copy of your chart.
There is a private message facility that allows you and your
instructor to discuss the chart.
When you register you are provided with a user identity
and password. You register anonymously in order to provide
an additional level of privacy beyond that offered by the password
(see Privacy Statement).
The couple must be prepared to undertake the necessary
reading (not lengthy ones) and only take advice from the instructor
assigned within this service. In order to gauge whether
the BOM is suited to your requirements it is recommended that

The first stage of observation and recording is usually of 2 to 4 weeks duration. It is required that you avoid genital contact during this period in order to avoid confusion by any secretions resulting from intercourse or contact.
You are requested to carefully consider whether
the Billings Ovulation Method is suited to your expectations
in order not to waste the time of the dedicated instructors.
If you wish to proceed with learning on the
Internet you should submit the registration form. You will
receive an immediate response containing a user ID and password.
Please record this in a safe place.
You now have access to the teaching service.You
will then be asked to accept a service and privacy agreement
and state your fertility history and immediate objectives
e.g. learning about your fertility, post-Pill, wanting to
achieve a pregnancy, breastfeeding, etc.
There is a fee of $25 for an introductory
period of instruction from a qualified teacher of the Billings
Ovulation Method. If you wish to continue with long term instruction
from the teacher then there is an additional fee of $75. Fees
will be waived in the case of hardship.
